Friends of LADDERS will honor the recipients of the Margaret L. Bauman, MD, Awards for Excellence within the Autism Community at the Awards Reception on Friday, April 29, 2011, at 6:00PM. This event recognizes exceptional parents and professionals who make a difference in the lives of individuals with autism.

The review committee wishes to recognize the commitment, dedication, and excellence of individuals in the following areas:

• Outstanding Teacher/Educator in a School Setting
• Outstanding Medical Professional
• Outstanding Therapist Provider
• Outstanding Early Intervention Provider (Center or Home Based)
• Outstanding Parent or Professional in a Volunteer Capacity
• Outstanding Provider or Advocate for Adult Services
• Outstanding Student Researcher

Provide a narrative including how long you have known this person, in what capacity and what special attributes distinguish this person in their category and be as complete as possible.

Please let us know if you would like your name to be disclosed to the nominee, and if you would like to read selections from your ballot at the reception.

Nominations should be received no later than Friday, April 1, 2011.  Recipients will be notified prior to the conference and will be invited to receive their award at the Awards Reception. There is no extra charge for this event.
